Tint Care
Avoid cleaning your new window tint for at least 30 days. Visual changes after installation are a normal part of the adhesive bonding process. When the haziness/milky look and water pockets have disappeared, the tint is considered dry or “cured” and is safe to clean. Depending on the product and temperature, it may take up to 60 days for the tint to fully cure. You may clean the inside surface with any normal household strength glass cleaner and a soft lint-free cloth.
DO NOT USE abrasive cleaners, industrial strength glass cleaners or other window cleaning tools that may scratch the window tint. For best results, avoid cleaning in direct sunlight.
Curing Period
After installation, you may notice a hazy/milky appearance when you look through the tint. Water pockets may also develop as the tint cures. This is to be expected and is caused by the barrier nature of the tint. Complete dry-out should occur within 30-60 days depending on the amount of remaining installation solution, sunlight, humidity and heat directed upon the window.
DO NOT clean the tint for at least 30 days or until it has completely dried out or cured.
